Business-minded Legal Counsel

A lifelong Edmontonian, Tyler attended Strathcona High School before attending the University of Alberta to study Mechanical Engineering. He completed his law degree at the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan.
Mr. Lypkie has advised hundreds of clients on a wide variety of employment law situations. He has successfully obtained six-figure judgments against some of Alberta’s largest employers.
Mr. Lypkie has represented clients in adjudications under the Canada Labour Code and at trials before the Albera Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. In his free time Tyler enjoys reading on a variety of subjects and is an undaunted Edmonton Oilers fan.
Tyler previously volunteered for a number of years with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and was a member of the board of Selections Career Support Services (2011-2013). He is currently the head coach of his son’s U9 hockey team.
