Termination and Workplace Discrimination

No one should lose their job because of who they are. If you were terminated or treated unfairly because of your race, gender, disability, age, or religion, you may have a strong case for workplace discrimination under Alberta’s Human Rights Act. Employers are not allowed to fire, demote, or retaliate against employees for reasons connected to personal characteristics that are protected by law.
